Listener for over 70 years…

Most of that time via short wave radio, including from every time zone around the world, that when sailing as passenger on cargo ships to far away places including on UK’s Blue Star and ACT services. Those were the days. Keep up the good work. You could be less inclined to “share” with the audience the latest corruptions of the language from here in USA…

Fix the video feed auto start of the articles.

The new changes of the BNC News app continues to annoy users like me. In addition to lacking My Topics section, the articles with video automatically play video with Ad as soon as I click open the articles, before even I read the description about the video to decide whether to listen/watch the video with NO pallPAUSE BUTTON available. Therefore I end up hurriedly closing the article before I even know what it is about. EXTREMELY ANNOYING and you are losing an opportunity to have someone like me to decide to endure the Ad and watch the video. Poor choice of changes. I am sure someone thought it would be an automated way to have captive audience. In reality you are losing potential audience due to this annoying feature. Dumb.

Used to be better

I have used this app as my primary news source for years now, but the recent update seems like a step back. One complaint I have is that the photos within a story are low resolution and you cannot even click on the pictures to see a higher resolution photo like you could in the previous version of the app. Why would they take a feature away in an update?
Anyway, I'll give three stars for the journalism alone, which is good, but the app itself is not as good as it was before.
